Save Unborn Baby Seals from Abortion
If momma seals were aborting their unborn pups due to the difficulty of raising them in the wild, most
pro-human abortion advocates undoubtedly would be aghast. “The seal population is precious,” they’d cry, and do whatever they could to stop momma seals from aborting their pups. They would NOT say, “Gee, unborn seals are part of their momma seals’ bodies, and so momma seals get to decide.” No, they would recognize the horror of aborting baby seals and fight, even against the seal mothers’ wills, to save preborn seal pups. No doubt, they would seek to introduce legislation — e.g., “Save Unborn Baby Seals Act” (SUBSA) to stop seal abortion. They’d organize protests and marches and run political ads to support SUBSA.
If only pro-human abortion advocates valued human babies as much as they do seal pups. In order to defend human abortion, advocates are required to vastly diminish the value of an unborn child, something they’d never do as regards an unborn seal, or most likely any other non-human pre-born creature.
Tells you something, doesn’t it?
